About BBVC
My name is Harrison Roloff, and I started Bradford Beach Volleyball Club in the summer of 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. With few activities going on, I knew it would be a great idea to encourage kids to get out of the house and play sports together while still following COVID-protocols. Volleyball was a staple of my childhood, so why not share my passion with others?

Volleyball is an extremely overlooked sport. So, I want to bring light to the best parts:
The beach.
The sun.
Teamwork.
Summertime fun.
Whether looking for a fun summer activity, a way to meet more people, or an improvement of skills, BBVC is the perfect opportunity.

More Information
Bradford Beach Volleyball Club camps run during the month of July, 2021 at Bradford Beach near the pavilion center (center of the beach). Each camp lasts for one week, Monday through Thursday with a rain day make-up on Friday. There is no previous skill or experience required. All are encouraged to participate.
Incoming 4th and 5th graders have a one-hour daily session from 8:45 am to 9:45 am. Incoming 6th and 7th graders have a 1-hour, 45-minute session from 10:00 am to 11:45 am. Incoming 8th graders and those entering high school will have a 1-hour, 45-minute session from Noon to 1:45 pm. If your son or daughter cannot make the desired time but would still like to participate, we could make exceptions to put them into a different age group upon request to (team@bradfordbvc.com).
It is our goal to pair up certain grade schools with each other from the same location for the purpose of rides and maintaining friend groups. Each grade school has their own week for the camp which can be viewed under the “2021 Camps” tab on our website. However, you are free to sign up your son or daughter for whichever week works best!
Everyday consists of drills and activities that build upon the most fundamental skills of the game: passing, serving, setting, and hitting. These proven-effective drills encourage vocal communication and emphasize team effort.
Everyone is encouraged to bring their own water bottle. However, cold bottled water will be readily available everyday. The last thing we want is dehydration problems. There will also be sunscreen and a first-aid kit on hand at all times. Treats (usually popsicles or ice cream bars) will be administered a few times each week. We are sensitive to many possible allergies, so we will stick to treats that do not have many common allergenic ingredients.
Each participant of the camp will get their own volleyball and t-shirt to take home. I love to encourage the continuation of the game after the camp, and give everyone a memento.
The incoming 4th and 5th grade session costs $90.00. The incoming 6th and 7th, and incoming 8th and high school sessions will cost $125.00 for the week. Payment options include Venmo or credit card online.
