Comida de Los Andes
Helping Community and Sharing Andean Gastronomy
Since opening in September of 2021, Comida de Los Andes has been proud to promote typical Andean food with the use of locally grown ingredients from the village of Sacaca. 100% of the money earned goes directly to the chefs and farmers of Sacaca.

Head Chef
Johan
Currently 28 years old, Johan's favorite hobby is cooking. What he loves most is creatively improvising and using homegrown ingredients to bring out new, tasty flavors. His dream is to continue sharing his love for cooking and the local Andean gastronomy.
The Sacaca Community
Hard-Working Farmers
The community grows local crops using ancestral techniques to ensure the highest quality of authentic ingredients. For example, one of the most common practices for harvesting potatoes is to use an ancestral Incan tool called the "chaki tatlla." All money goes directly back to the chefs and community, funding the maintenance of walkways and sprinkler irrigation systems.
